As a green transition expert, Kaisa Hietala holds positions in some of the world's most influential corporate boards. At the same time, she is convinced that green startups hold the key to a greener future. Together with a group of high-profile investors, including former Nokia executive Terhi Vapola, Kaisa Hietala founded Greencode Ventures in 2022, a venture capital firm currently raising funds.

Greencode was featured in Finland's leading newspaper Helsingin Sanomat. "It took 40 years to decrease the manufacturing cost of solar panels enough to make it profitable. This time, we don't have 40 years to wait until new technology scales."

Greencode Ventures was featured in ArcticStartup, announcing its first close and the first investment.
